Black History Month – Freedom in Congo Square – a storybook lesson

This storybook lesson is perfect to help elementary students celebrate Black History Month.  Your students will get a chance to learn about Congo Square and the way people celebrated every Sunday in the square.  They’ll also get to sing, play Orff instruments, and even get a chance to compose their own music.  This lesson includes:
