Nice to meet you, I’m Ms. Shorey!
You can call me Jeanette
I help music teachers feel more confident in the classroom by giving easy-to-implement resources, tips to help your classroom run more smoothly, and strategies to create the happy music room you’ve always dreamed of.
My proven teaching methods don’t just help you feel calmer and enjoy being in your music classroom. They also keep your students on task and excited to come to music every time. Talk about a win-win!
As a teacher, music composer, reader, and lover of all things silly and fun, I’ll be your guide to learning how to quickly and easily create your own happy classroom.
Here are the official DEETS!
At home, I’m the mom to 2 adult boys (I still like to call them “The boys” (Don’t tell them!) who are musicians in their own right. I’m also dog mom to Mickey, a feisty Toy Yorky who thinks he’s a doberman, and Grandma to a black lab and a sweet kitty!
I’m passionate about physical exercise. I legit wake up before 5 a.m. to work out before school. I’m an avid reader and water skiier, and a hopeful gardener looking to acquire a green thumb.
Why am I the perfect person to support you?
